At approximately 21:05 Moscow Time on Friday evening an explosion occurred at the railway station in the southern Dagestani city of Derbent. According to preliminary information, one woman has died and five others have been hospitalized, among them three policemen.
According to a source in the law-enforcement authorities of Makhachkala an explosive device was placed in a litter bin.
