Drug-control officer shot dead in Ingushetia

Unknown assailants opened fire at a car containing a drug control
officer, his wife and their children near the Ingush village of Plievo
at around 1.20 p.m. Moscow Time. The officer died later in
hospital, reports ITAR-TASS.
His wife and children, aged between 7 and 10, were injured and also
hospitalized, but doctors say their lives are not in danger
