A bishop of the catholic church of Anatolia was
killed in his house in the Turkish city of Iskenderumm, RIA Novosti
reports, citing Turkish media. DHA reported that Louigee Padovezo was
stabbed to death by his driver.
There was a similar case in Turkey in 2006 when the head of a local
church in Trabzon, Andrea Santoro, was killed.
