Two law-enforcement officials were wounded when fire was opened on squad cars by unknown assailants in Nazran, RIA Novosti reports, citing local police.
The incident occurred around 06.00 AM Moscow Time. Two policemen were hospitalized.
Another firefight occurred almost at the same time in another part of Nazran region. Two policemen were shot dead, another hospitalized in a very serious condition, reports Interfax-Yug.
