Georgian Premier Nika Gilamuri promised at a government session in
Telavi to spend $76 million on the Kakheti region, after the natural
disasters that struck the area, Georgia Online reports.
Gilauri said that the money will be spent on repairing the water
supply system, schools, roads and bridges.
“The main project of the region is still construction of the
Gomborskaya road, which will be finished at the end of the year", the
Premier said, noting that 22 million lari from the budget and the
Asian Development Bank will be spent.
