The first session of a governmental commission established by the
Azerbaijani president on flooding along the Kura and Araz rivers took
place today. The session was held under the chairmanship of Premier
Artur Rasizade to discuss preventive measures against flooding.
According to the ANS channel, after the session the chairman of
'Amelioration and Water Economy' Ahmed Ahmedzade told the journalists
about planned work to divert the two rivers to prevent further
flooding
