President Dmitri Medvedev will hold a meeting concerning the social-economic development of Dagestan on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.
A new social-economic development strategy is being worked out, and Dagestani projects will be included in this strategy. One of the most important problems to be solved is lack of employment.
Last week Medvedev had a telephone call with the president of Dagestan, Magomedsalam Magomedov, concerning the situation surrounding the fires in Dagestan and compensation to be paid?for resulting damage and loss.
