The Russian President has declared April 12th a National Mourning Day for the victims of the plane crash, which occured in the vicinity of Smolensk, announced Dmitri Medvedev in an address to the Polish nation. He also expressed his condolences to families of the victims and the entire nation. The Russian Emergencies Minister reported that 97 people died; their bodies will be delivered to Moscow for identification, reports ITAR-TASS.
