Saakashvili to break off visit to US for Kaczynski's funeral

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili is breaking off his visit to the United States in connection with the tragic death of the Polish President. According to the presidential administration, Saakashvili will go to Poland in order to attend Kaczynski's funeral. Saakashvili
will then travel to the USA and resume the visit, Georgia online reports.

Mikhail Saakashvili is due to visit the U.S. at Barack Obama's invitation. The Georgian President will participate in the international summit on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons starting on April 12.

April 11 in Georgia has been declared a day of mourning for the deaths of Polish citizens, including the president. Saakashvili also posthumously awarded Lech Kaczynski the title of National Hero of Georgia.
