Sochi ski resort commissioned for European Cup

The Sochi ski resort is fully ready to host the European Cup, RIA
Novosti reports, referring to the general director of the resort,
Sergei Bachin.

The first test event at the Sochi Olympic venues will be entrusted to
the Federation of Skiing and Snowboarding of Russia (FGSSR). The Cup
of Russia will take place from February 8-15, the European Cup in the
men’s category from February 15- 18 and the European Cup in the
women's category from February 22 -26.

The President of the FGSSR, Svetlana Gladyshev, noted the amount of
work that had gone into preparing the resort.

The resort is provided with unique trails, cable cars and roads, as
well as other infrastructure.
