Construction of training centers for Sochi Olympics to be completed in 2012

Construction of all major training bases where the athletes will prepare for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi will be completed by 2012. This was announced today the Minister of Sport and Tourism Vitaly Mutko at a meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, YuGA.ru reports.


The Minister said that in 2011 will be completed  five of these bases. Speaking of winter sports, Mutko noted that Russia so far has no ski jumps or centers for freestyle snowboarding.

He said  that   Perm region will have ski jump lines, biathlon center as well as all facilities for rehabilitation and recovery of athletes.
