The Armenian police have arrested seven Russian football fans for starting a brawl at the Moscow-Yerevan plane, Armenian media report.
The crew said that the fight started before the plane landed. Fans were cussing and fighting. The police believe that the fight was inspired by alcohol.
The arrested Russian citizens are: Anton V. (born in 1970), Bogdan A. (1980), Sergey S. (1980), Sergey P. (1982), Dmitry K. (1975) and Mikhail G. (1980).
The football fans arrived for the Russia vs. Armenia match, scheduled for March 26. The police banned alcohol during the match for the first time. Fans may be tested for alcohol. If any alcohol is revealed they will not be able to enter the stadium.
