Preparations for the Sochi Olympic Games reach new level

 

Planning for the 2014 Olympic Games has reached a more active stage, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov said, RIA Novosti cites the press office of the "Sochi 2014 " organizing committee.

On Tuesday the House of the Russian Government held its first meeting this year of the Supervisory Board of Sochi 2014. Following the meeting, the organizing committee was praised for the preparation and holding of the fifth visit of the IOC Coordination Commission to Sochi and for the environmental support of the preparation of the Games, as well as innovation in the development of approaches to the opening and closing ceremonies of Olympic and Paralympic Games.
