Near 13 billion rubles will be allocated by the nonprofit organization Sporting Broadcasting for TV broadcasting of the Sochi Olympic Games 2014, according to the head of Sporting Broadcasting Vasily Kiknadze, RIA Novosti reports.
The initiators of the organization are First Channel, VGTRK, NTV-Plus, RIA Novosti. Sporting Broadcasting is responsible for creation of national TV HD-signal for Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi and Student Games 2013 in Kazan.
The nonprofit organization and Sony signed the contract on production of 12 modern mobile TV stations.
Among current targets are possession of necessary equipment, testing of it and searching for specialists who could work with it.
