Putin visits sports complex under construction in Krasnodar

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin today visited a multi-sports complex under construction in Krasnodar, RIA Novosti reports.

The complex will include a basketball hall, ice rink, water sports center, complex of training rooms, medical-rehabilitation center for athletes, 12 playgrounds and a sports boarding school.

Governor of Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev presented to Putin a project for construction of a 50,000-seater football stadium, which will be built for the World Cup in 2018.
