Vice-President of Turkish Soccer club "Besiktas" resigns

The Vice-President of the Turkish football club "Besiktas",  Serdal
Adal, resigned today, Trend reports, referring to Turkish media.

Serdal Adal had been detained in the course of an investigation into a
case of match-fixing between the Istanbul club and the team of
"Eskishehirspor" in 2010-2011.

The president of the Turkish football club "Fenerbahce", Aziz
Yildirim, was arrested last Sunday concerning a match-fixing case. The
Turkish media expect more detentions in connection with the scandal in
the near future.
