Chechen judo wrestlers win gold at World Championship

Four Chechen judo wrestlers have won gold at the World Judo
Championship in Istanbul. They won gold, silver and bronze medals.


Coach Ibragim Ayubov said that two wrestlers in the under 90 kg
category entered the final. Sheykh-Magomed Vakayev and Mayrbek
Abdullayev from Chechnya competed for gold medals. Vakayev won gold,
Abdullayev silver.


Another Chechen wrestler, Movlad Biksultanov, in the under 100 kg
category, received bronze.


The coach noted that Russia beat 16 national teams. Russian wrestlers
won a total of 4 gold medals.
