Izvestia correspondent wounded in Libya

Orkhan Jemal, a special correspondent of Izvestia, was injured in
Libya on Monday. The rebels took him to hospital in Zintan, Gazeta.ru
cites the Editor-in-Chief of Izvestia, Alexander Milyutin.


Jemal will stay in Zintan for 10 days. He was shot in the leg.


The journalist has been reporting on the situation in Libya ever since
the war started. He reported from Benghazi and other cities.


Jemal was storming Georgian villages together with the Vostok
Battalion in 2008 and wrote a book about it.
