Russian gymnast Yevgenya Kanayeva has won the World Championship for Free Calisthenics in Montpellier.
She gained a total of 29,600 points, outrunning Darya Kondakova (Russia) with 29,050 points and Lyubov Charkashina (Belarus) with 28,450 points.
Azerbaijani gymnast Alia Garayeva reached the finals and received 27.6 points, taking 6th place.
Competitions with rods will start today. Azerbaijani gymnasts Anna Gurbanova, Zeynab Javadly and Alia Garayeva will attend the contest.
