Azerbaijani boxer Teymur Mamedov (91 kg) has beaten Sergey Korneyev (Belarus) with a score of 19:19 (9:4, 6:9 and 4:6). The Belarusian protest against the victory was declined by the International Boxing Association (AIBA), 1news.az reports.
Thus, Azerbaijan is guaranteed a bronze medal. Mamedov has a match with Clemente Russo on August 10.
