Dutch coach Guus Hiddink’s agent, Kees van Nieuwenhuizen, has told the newspaper Sovetsky Sport that information on Hiddink and Anzhi FC signing a contract is untrue.
Russian media published information on Hiddink signing a 3-year contract with Anzhi FC last week. The Dutch coach was to be paid 8 million euros annually.
Nieuwenhuizen said that Hiddink is on vacation in Africa and would return in mid-January. He added that he had never had contacts with the source that had published such information. Moreover, no negotiations with Anzhi FC are ongoing, the agent says.
