Azerbaijani gymnasts have won two bronze medals at the Adriatic Arena in Italy’s Pesaro, the home city of Joakkino Rossini, Trend reports.
The press service of the Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation said that Alia Garayeva has won a bronze medal, entering three out of four finals. Yevgenia Kanayeva and Darya Kondakova were ahead of her by half a point.
Nilufer Niftaliyeva won the second bronze medal for Azerbaijan, Chief Coach of the Azerbaijani National Gymnast Team Mariana Vasileva said. The 14-year old gymnast lost to Russia and Italy. She took the sixth position in team competitions with Gulsyum Shafizade.
Lala Yusifova was 21st out of 45, her team got the 14th position. The next competition will be held in the capital of Hungary.
