Turkey may scrap bid to host UEFA Euro-2020

Turkey may scrap its bid to host the UEFA Euro-2020 Championship, AZE.az reports.

Germany has already quit, because the country has already hosted the World Championship for men in 2006 and for women in 2011.

Bid filing ends on May 15.

Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania (joint bid), Georgia and Azerbaijan (joint bid), and the Czech Republic and Slovakia (joint bid) are bidding to host the football championship. The host will be chosen in late 2013.
