Isaev wins gold for Russia

Russian judo sportsman Mansur Isaev has won Olympic gold in the men's 73 kilogram category, beating Japan's Riki Nakaya in the final on Monday, RIA-Novosti reports.
The bronze medals went to Nyam-Ochir Sainjargal from Mongolia, who beat Dutch judo player Dex Elmont by yuko, while the French Ugo Legrand took the second bronze with an overtime win against South Korea's Ki-Chun Wang by waza-ari.
In the women's 57 kilogram category, Kaori Matsumoto from Japan won gold after beating Romanian's Corina Caprioriu, who was disqualified for using an unsafe hold.
