Alan Dzagoyev, a half-back for CSKA and the Russian national team, has become an honorary citizen of Beslan, Yuga.ru reports.
The honorary citizenship was granted by the Council of Representatives of the Pravoberezhny District for his achievements in sports.
Dzagoyev started playing football at school N4. He joined Avtodor-Yunost (Vladikavkaz) in 2000. He joined Moscow CSKA in 2007 and played his first game for the national team in 2008.
