Russian oarsmen win first bronze medal at Olympic Games

 

Russian oarsmen Alexey Korovashkov and Ilia Pervukhin have won the first Russian bronze medal in a canoe race of 1000 meters at the Olympic Games in London, finishing at 3.36,414, RIA Novosti reports.

German oarsmen Peter Kretschmer and Kurt Kushel won at 3.33,804, Belarusian oarsmen Andrey and Alexander Bogdanovichs got silver at 3.35,206.
