National Olympic Committee to be created in South Ossetia

There is a plan to create a National Olympic Committee in South Ossetia, Res reports referring to the chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism, Vadim Bogiev.

Bogiev noted that currently the republic is working on the creation of a charter of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Note that at the last Olympic Games in London a native of South Ossetia Besik Kudukhov won a silver medal in freestyle wrestling. In previous years, three other natives of South Ossetia - Alexander Mamonov, Vadim Bogiev and Kakha Kahiashvili took part in the Olympic Games.
