Nikolai Tolstykh has been elected the head of the Russian Football Union (RFU). The elections took place in Moscow on Monday at a special conference of the organization, Interfax reports.
Nikolai Tolstykh won in the second round of voting.
Until today Tolstykh occupied the office of the Vice President of the Union. He is also the executive director of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC). Nikolai Tolstykh will head the RFU for next four years.
