On October 4 Chechnya will hold the North Caucasian cycling race "VELOS
2012". This race is connected to the Republican Day of Youth and is
aimed at promoting the sport of cycling and an active lifestyle in the
regions of the North Caucassus, the press-service of the Chechen
government says.
The length of the race is 110 km, the age of the possible participants
is between 18 and 30.
The race will start on October 4, 2012 near Lake Kezenoi-Am. The finish
line will be on the territory of the Memorial complex "Glory Alley" in
the city of Grozny.
