12 outside broadcast units will transmit Olympic Games-2014

It is planned to use 12 outside broadcast units to transmit the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, said Deputy Executive Director of the non-commercial organization "Sportivnoe Soveshchanie", Sviatoslav Ponurov, speaking at a meeting concerning preparations for the Games, reports Yuga.ru.
The stations, that will be purchased in September, will have between 16 and 24 cameras and require about 1500 specialist personnel.
The Olympic transmission will be part of the national television programme of the XXII Winter Olympic Games coverage and XI Paralympic Games, for which reason "Sportivnoe Veshchanie" was created, the founders of which are "First Channel", VGTRK, NTV+ and Ria-Novosti.
