Tickets to matches of ice-hockey and figure-skating will be the most expensive (40,000 rubles each) at the Olympic Games in Sochi, while bobsleigh and skiing competitions will be the cheapest (1,000 rubles), Izvestia reports.
The official sales of tickets for the games of 2014 will start in early February 2013. The Russian Olympic Committee expects to earn 6 billion rubles from ticket sales, excluding the tickets for the opening and closing of the Olympic Games.
A special law banning re-sales of tickets was passed. A special passport for sports fans will also make such commercial schemes more complicated.
