President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today chaired the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the European Games, which are going to take place in Baku in 2015.
The Head of State hailed the decision of the General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees to organize the first European Games in Baku as a remarkable and historical event.
The President said Azerbaijan`s strong international prestige played a crucial role in the making of this decision.
