The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has published a rating of world football clubs where Makhachkala’s Anzhi FC is considered the top club of Russia.
The club did not play in January. It climbed from position 36 to 35. Kazan Rubin FC moved from 87 to 85, Saint-Petersburg Zenit dropped from 102 to 104. Moscow Dinamo FC and Spartak FC are 172nd and 184th respectively. CSKA is 205th, Grozny Terek is 406th.
Baku’s Neftchi moved from 188th to 190th, close to Costa Rico and the Czech Republic. Beyukagi Gajiyev’s team has 90.5 points.
Barcelona has been the leader for a long time. Atletico from Madrid outran London Chelsea and became second.
