"Anji-Arena" in Makhachkala ready to host its first match

The stadium "Anzhi-Arena" in Makhachkala will very soon  host its first
football fans, the press service of the Makhachkala football club
reports. Large-scale reconstruction of the former "Khazar" stadium
is complete. It was expected that the "Anzhi-Arena" would be ready by spring
2012, but the reconstruction took more time.

The stadium has been recognized as a first category pitch. It has all
the necessary equipment, the executive director of the Russian Premier
League, Sergey Cheban said.

The new arena can accommodate more than 30,000 people.
The earliest match will take place on March 17.
