The European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) and the Capital Bank of Azerbaijan signed a one-year partnership contract in Moscow today to host the European Championship of Artistic Gymnastics. Georges Gelzec said that the document improved technical service of the championship.
According to the contract, the bank and the UEG will broadcast the championship on a new screen and show viewers the process of voting.Yashar Mamedov, deputy chairman of the board of the Capital Bank, said that the bank had supported the Eurovision Song Contest held in Baku in 2012 and the anniversary concert of Azerbaijani singer and composed Muslim Magomayev. The bank supports football, heavy athletics and gymnastics.
The bank will mark its 40th anniversary in 2014. It cooperates with the Azerbaijani Federation of Gymnastics and helped organize championships of artistic gymnastic in Baku in 2007 and 2009.
