Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov won the horse race at the International Horse Sports Complex of Ashkhabad dedicated to the Day of Turkmen Steed marked on April 28, Trend reports.
Berdimuhamedov won the 1000-m run on his steed Berkarare in 21.2 seconds and won $10 million he donated to Turkmen Atlary, a horse-breeding state association.
Riders aged over 30 took part in the race.
