Azerbaijani well-known gymnast, Aliya Garayeva, has commented today on the reasons for quitting professional sports career.
"I think the time has come," she said. "I am 25 years old. In principle, in this age, many sportsmen quit sport, most of them even earlier," Trend reports.
She also stressed that she has several proposals on the future work.
"There are several proposals that I am still considering," she said. "I am particularly interested in one of them. I think this issue will be resolved in September."
A gala concert was held in Baku. It was dedicated to the European champion, vice world champion, two-time Olympic and five-time absolute champion of Azerbaijan, Aliya Garayeva's farewell ceremony.
