Azerbaijani climbers Sirkhan Mamedov and Firuz Dadashov arrived in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) last week, then to Karkoru, then South Inylchek to climb the Peaks of khan Tengri (7010m) and Pobedy (7439m), the Azerbaijani Alpinism Federation reports.
They plan to reach the peaks in late August. They have climbed the Peaks of Pamir and Tien Shan in 2010, 2011 and 2012. They may get the Snow Leopard Award for the climb. 621 climbers have such award.
