Gadzhi Gadzhiev to leave Krylya Sovetov FC

Krylya Sovetov, the Samara Football Club, announced today that it will soon terminate the contract with its coach Gadzhi Gadzhiev, who, as previously reported by Vestnik Kavkaza, will replace Guus Hiddink as head coach of Makhachkala's Anzhi FC.

"I understand that my decision is a big surprise for fans of Krylya, but I could not have done otherwise. And with the club we have already agreed in the winter that in case of such an invitation I could, having paid a penalty, leave the team," RIA Novosti quotes the coach.

Gadzhiev said that sometimes life offers circumstances that "dictate their will on us." "This is what happened today. I feel obliged to return to Makhachkala, where my father lives, and where my professional participation in the life of the club is needed more than ever. I leave in Samara a team which is ready to fight. With all my heart I wish "Krylya Sovetov" and their many fans all the best," the coach said.
