The opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi will start on February 7, at 20:14 Moscow time, the press service of the organizing committee " Sochi-2014" informs.
The starting time of the ceremony is meant to symbolize the year of the first ever Russian Winter Games. The event will be held at the Olympic stadium "Fischt" and will last for about three hours, ITAR-TASS reports.
