Georgian Prime Minister irakly Garibashvili said that no Georgian government delegation will visit Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, RIA Novosti reports.
Only athletes and authorities of the National Olympic Committee will visit Sochi, he clarified. The new Georgian government decided to send athletes to the Games in Sochi, despite protests from the United National Movement. The Georgian Dream coalition came to power after the parliamentary polls of October 1, 2012, and named normalization of ties with Russia as a priority of national foreign policy.
