Expert comments on Russia's group in World Cup

The majority of experts believe that Russia has drawn a favourable group during preparations for the 2014 World Cup. The country ended up in Group H alongside Belgium, South Korea and Algeria.

According to Giya Saralidze, fortune has smiled upon Russia in the World Cup draw.

All three of Russia's competitors cannot be called leaders in football, he says. At the same time one should bear in mind that the Belgian team isn't worse than the Russian one, while the South Korean players are very hard-working and persistent.

This means that even though Russia has drawn a very lucky lot, it's not clear whether it will defeat its competitors or not, Saralidze says.
