The authors of the uniform design for the team of Kazakhstan at the Olympics in Sochi have provided protection from evil spirits.
To this end, they have included elements of petroglyphs in its design: a traditional Kazakh ornament, the image of a Golden Man, shanyrak and tumar – symbol of nomads, a talisman that protects its bearer from the evil eye and diseases. According to the designers, this will eliminate the possibility of the influence of evil forces on the results of the athletes.
The uniform will consist of 19 items of clothing and cost more than $2 thousand. In total, more than 150 uniforms will be sewed, "Interfax" reports.
