Jonathan Legear, a Belgian halfback of Terek FC, has apologized for an interview with a Belgian media source in which he said that he was planning to leave the football club with Kanu (Brazil) and Gheorghe Grozav (Romania), Championat.com reports.
He said that the journalist interviewing him gave a false interpretation of his words and ignored all the positive things he said about the club. Legear emphasized that he had good relations with the club and was treated well.
The football player added that his salary was paid on time and was never delayed. He explained that the only problem was that it was hard to adapt to the new place.
Legear's interview, in which he announced plans to quit the club together with Kany and Grozav, was published on January 9.
