About 1300 medical workers will be employed at the Olympics in Sochi. The willingness of the healthcare industry to help at the Olympics was discussed at a national conference with the Minister of Health, Veronika Skvortsova. Krasnodar Territory was represented by the vice-governor of the region, Galina Zolina.
Kuban will assist physicians in 39 health centers at 18 Olympic venues. Six hospitals, including an ambulance station, are involved in the medical support at the Games in the resort city of Sochi.
" All medical institutions located on the territory of Sochi are ready to provide medical assistance to the participants and guests of the Olympic Games in full on the most modern equipment in accordance with international standards," RIA Novosti cites the message of the Krasnodar Territory Administration.
