The future of Spartak-Nalchik FC will be settled next week. At the beginning of January the club's director Viktor Shekemov declared bankruptcy and announced that the club would be disbanded. However a final decision is expected to be made by the acting head of the Kabardino-Balkarian republic, Yury Kokov.
According to Artem Sokolov, the situation over the football club is typical for Russia. "It's not a surprise that the club will probably be disbanded. The only peculiarity is that it hasn't happened before," he says.
The expert notes that football life in Russia is dominated by factors which have actually nothing to do with sport.
