Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov checked readiness of athletes for the Olympic Torch Relay yesterday, RIA Novosti reports.
The list of torch bearers has already been composed. It includes Olympic athletes, public figures, students of sports and general education centers.
Yevkurov urged functionaries to treat the event with great responsibility and reminded that it will be broadcast by many TV channels. Ingushetia will hold the Olympic Torch Relay on January 29. The main event will take place at the Tower of Consent in Magas, where the Olympic flame will be placed.
