The Olympic Torch Relay in Kabardino-Balkaria was moved from Elbrus resorts and Nalchik to a small route near the Spartak Stadium due to severe weather conditions, RIA Novosti reports.
The Olympic Flame will arrive to the stadium by helicopter. 45 bearers will carry the flame. A concert will be organized at a special stage.
Snowboarders will carry the Flame to the foot of Elbrus. Kabardino-Balkarian climbers Abdul-Halim Olmezov and Karina Mezova will bring the Flame to the mountain. They fear that it would be a challenge in the current weather conditions.
