Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has wished his country's strategic partner Russia luck with hosting the 22nd Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Tengrinews.kz reports.
He expressed hope that Russia will back Kazakhstan’s bid to host the 24th Winter Olympic Games in 2022.
The Sochi Games will start on February 7, 2014. President Nazarbayev is expected to attend the opening. Skier Yerdos Ahmadiyev will be the flag-bearer of Kazakhstan.
