Latvian mass media have expressed doubts about the results of the skeleton at the Olympic Games in Sochi, where Alexander Tretyakov was declared winner of the gold medal, Interfax reports.
Media sources point out that all four starts of the Russian athlete were recorded.Journalists of LTV wanted to compare the number of steps made by Latvian athlete Martins Dukurs, who won silver, and Tretyakov but there were no records of the start. Dukurs himself called Treatyakov the best skeletonist at gaining speed.
